PSE&G reported about 300 customers remained without power in Bergen County Thursday morning.

Powerful winds brought down trees and power lines overnight Wednesday, leaving thousands of PSE&G customers without power for a period of time.

Most of the power had returned by early Thursday morning, but about 300 customers remained without service, according to PSE&G spokesman Claude Sikavi.

The National Weather Service Thursday morning reported minor-to-moderate flooding near the Ramapo River, affected towns along the river.

Floodwaters were expected to recede by Thursday afternoon.

The winds brought down a tractor-trailer truck on the George Washington Bridge Wednesday night, blocking westbound traffic.

The truck was headed to New York City and flipped over in the westbound lanes, according to CBS2.

There was also a report of a vehicle accident with no injuries in Saddle Brook shortly before 2 a.m.
