Police ask motorists to avoid area

The crash was reported near the Maple Shade Motel, police said.
All southbound lanes were blocked in the area, according to the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management.
A witness reported the crash involved a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle.
Additional details were not immediately available.
Avoid Rte 17 Southbound in Ramsey. The roadway is closed due to an investigation of a serious motor vehicle accident. Avoid the area.
