Police investigate if high winds contributed to death of building manager
TEANECK -- Officials with the federal Occupational Health and Safety Administration are investigating the death of a building manager who police believe apparently fell from a roof at the Glenpointe complex, an agency spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Clifford M. Lemay, 57, was found in a courtyard area around 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to police. He was pronounced dead and authorities were examining if high winds played a role in the seven-story fall that killed Lemay.
Police Chief Robert Carney previously said there were no signs of foul play and called the fatality a "horrific accident."

There were no witnesses to the fall and video footage showed Lemay go to the roof, The Record reported.
Lemay's employer Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, which owns the Glenpointe, said he went to the roof Tuesday morning to check for possible damage from strong winds overnight.
Teaneck police and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office responded to investigate, officials previously said. OSHA also joined the investigation on Tuesday. OSHA investigates all "work-related fatalities and catastrophes," according to an agency report.
"By law, the agency has a total of six months to complete the investigation and release its findings," OSHA spokeswoman Leni Uddyback-Fortson said in an email.
President and CEO of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises David Sanzari on Tuesday said in a statement the firm was "heartbroken" by the Lemay's death.
"He was highly regarded by all of us -- a person who was appreciated and loved by both our employees and tenants who knew him," Sanzari said.
