Crews working to make repairs
LYNDHURST -- A transformer fire knocked out power to nearly 1,300 Public Service Electric and Gas customers in the township Thursday, officials said.
Crews were making repairs as of 5:30 p.m., according to the Lyndhurst Office of Emergency Management.
The fire was reported at Page and Stuyvesant avenues, a township emergency alert said.
PSE&G's website showed 1,293 customers without electricity.
