A Bergenfield doctor accused of sexually abusing patients and staff agreed to have this medical license temporarily suspended, The Record reported.
HACKENSACK -- A Bergenfield doctor accused of sexually abusing patients and staff agreed to have this medical license temporarily suspended, The Record reported.
Dr. Raja K. Jagtiani, 54, of Dumont, faces multiple counts of criminal sexual contact, simple assault and harassment by offensive touching, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. He is accused of inappropriately touching seven women.
Aidan P. O'Connor, an attorney for the doctor, said Jagtiani denies the allegations, according to the newspaper. Jagtiani agreed to stop seeing patients while the judicial process continues.

Jagtiani was first arrested Aug. 25 on charges he abused current and former employees as well as a patient, the prosecutor's office said. Three more women came forward with similar allegations and he was arrested again last week.
Records show Jagtiani was released on $50,000 bail.
