The Fox correspondent first listed the waterfront home a year ago for $3.75 million; now it's $2.75 million Watch video
Geraldo Rivera has chopped another $130,000 off the price of his waterfront compound in Edgewater, which has lingered on the market for more than a year. It's now $2.75 million, a full $1 million less than his initial asking price, according to Zillow.
Rivera, the Fox correspondent who was the first contestant ejected from "Dancing With the Stars" this season, last year spent $5.6 million on an Upper East Side condo with views of Central Park, closing the deal a week before putting his Edgewater home on the market.
The Edgewater home features an open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half-baths, with the master bedroom and living room lined with windows overlooking the Hudson. The property, built on several levels, includes a boat dock and a koi pond.
This is the second price cut in five weeks. In April Rivera he trimmed the price from $2.95 million to $2.88 million.
It's the second most expensive listing in Edgewater, after a $3.475 million home a couple of houses away from Rivera in what is known as the Edgewater Colony, a co-op community next to the Palisades Interstate Park.
