Banks in Ridgewood, Lyndhurst hit
RIDGEWOOD -- A man robbed the TD Bank branch on Franklin Avenue Tuesday afternoon, Capt. Jacqueline Luthcke of Ridgewood police confirmed.
The bank was robbed around 4:30 p.m. The suspect, who fled on foot, is white with grayish hair and was wearing a black hat and a long-sleeved blue shirt, Luthcke said.
Kearny Bank in Lyndhurst robbed
The robbery is being investigated by local police, the Bergen County Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the FBI.
The Ridgewood robbery occurred just hours after the Kearny Bank in Lyndhurst was hit at 1:45 p.m.
