Archer L. Irby, a chiropractor in Englewood, was arrested July 30 in connection with one incident and again on Aug. 1 when two more women came forward, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

The women claim Irby inappropriately touched them in his office at Irby Spine Care on Grand Avenue, Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said in a statement.

Irby is charged with three counts of criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact and one count of lewdness, the prosecutor said.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 17.

Irby's name remained on the Leonia Board of Education website this week.

Diane Paino, secretary to schools superintendent Joanne Megargee, said Friday that Irby recently resigned from the board.
