One officer from Paterson, the other from Paramus, were reportedly hurt.
OAKLAND - Two police officers were injured late Wednesday when their motorcycles collided along Route 202 during a training exercise, according to police.
The officers from Paramus and Paterson were riding together when the crash occurred, according to Oakland Police Chief Edward Kasper. Their names were not released.
Both officers were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where they were treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, the police chief said.
The accident is under investigation.
