NJ Transit has addressed rider complaints on four Bergen lines, but didn't answer questions about late trains and no-shows.
Commuters who've complained about overcrowded trains on Bergen County rail lines, which were displaced from the Hoboken Terminal after last week's train crash, are getting relief from NJ Transit.
After several days of complaints about standing-room only trains, NJ Transit officials said they'll run two additional peak period trains, leaving Port Jervis at 5:33 and 6:33 a.m., which will make all stops to Suffern. Those trains will then make selected stops at Route 17, Ridgewood, Glen Rock-Boro Hall and Radburn, before running express to Secaucus.
Two extra evening trains will leave Secaucus at 5:19 and 7:27 p.m., run express to Radburn and stop at Glen Rock-Boro Hall, Route 17 and Suffern. The trains will make all stops after Suffern.

NJ Transit officials said they will monitor overcrowding on the Main, Bergen, Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines and will deploy "additional capacity, when available, in selected areas" to relieve overcrowding. Extra service will operate on select NJ Transit bus routes which run parallel to Main/Bergen and Pascack Valley rail lines.
Main, Bergen, Port Jervis and Pascack Valley line trains will continue to run on a weekend schedule to and from Secaucus. Cross honoring with PATH, NY Waterway ferries, NJ Transit and private carrier buses will continue until further notice.
NJ Transit officials advised commuters to still purchase tickets and passes to and from Hoboken, so they will be cross honored by other modes and carriers.
Still unanswered were commuter complaints about trains on those lines, which either missed stops or ran late. NJ Transit did not respond to NJ Advance Media questions about specific trains that commuters lodged complaints about.

Commuters have complained on social media, since Friday, about trains which showed up late or failed to arrive at all on the four Bergen lines.
Other NJ Transit lines continue to operate on weekday schedules, however, all rail service remains suspended to and from Hoboken.
Morris & Essex Line, Gladstone Branch and Montclair-Boonton Line will have limited service running every two hours for points west of Montclair State University and west of Dover, in addition to regular MidTown Direct service. MidTown Direct trains will make additional stops east of Summit.
