Up to 60 students suffered minor injuries when one school bus rear-ended another on the Palisades Interstate Parkway
Two school buses transporting students from North Jersey collided Monday afternoon on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, sending at least 40 kids to the hospital, police said.
One of the buses rear-ended the other at about 2:05 p.m., and as many as 60 students were taken Nyack Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital, some with minor injuries, according to New York State Police.

The crash occurred at Exit 11 southbound.
The students, who were from Northern Valley Regional High School, had been on a field trip to Woodmont Day Camp in New City, N.Y., police spokesman Steve Nevel said. The students were from the high school's Demarest location, WABC 7 reported.
