Eric Linder of Fort Lee claims he was bitten while staying at the resort in Miami.
A Bergen County man has filed a lawsuit against a Trump resort in Miami, claiming he was bitten by bed bugs while staying there, according to a report on palmbeachpost.com.
Eric Linder, 64, of Fort Lee, is asking for $15,000, claiming the bites left him with "welts, lumps, spots on his face, neck, and arm," according to the lawsuit, which was filed over the summer.
Linder, who works for an insurance company, claims he was staying at the Trump National Doral Miami when bitten, according to the news report.
According to The Palm Beach Post, the Trump Organization bought the resort out of bankruptcy for $150 million in 2012. Since then, Donald Trump has put in about $250 million in renovations to the 50-year-old property.
