RAMSEY -- A 30 year-old man died after he was struck by a "large part of a tree" Wednesday afternoon while working at a condo community in Ramsey, police said.
Police didn't provide his name, but said he lived in New York City, was a husband and father of two.
The man worked for a tree service hired by Peach Hill Townhouse Community to work on the property. At 2:50 p.m., police arrived on scene and found the man to be unconscious. He was treated there for upper body and head injuries.

He was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY, where he was pronounced dead at about 3:35 p.m.
Representatives from Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration responded to the scene. The matter is still under investigation, police said.
