NEW YORK -- A Bergen County resident has been charged with shooting a man he was arguing with outside a restaurant in Queens, N.Y. over the weekend, according to a report.
Carlos Suarez-Moytoya allegedly reached into a parked car and shot the 23-year-old man in the abdomen after a verbal altercation in front of SLIDE Bar-B-Q restaurant on 65th Place in Maspeth just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
Suarez-Moytoya, 30, of Lodi, is charged with attempted murder, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon for the loaded firearm, and second degree assault, Qns.com reported.
Suarez-Moytoya is being held on $500,000 bail, the Department of Corrections said. His next court date is Nov. 10.
