The victim, who was found at Wood Dale County Park, was taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
WOODCLIFF LAKE -- A man shot himself Sunday in a county park, police said.
A jogger saw the injured man at about 7:30 a.m. in Wood Dale County Park, said Anthony Cureton, a spokesman for the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's officers found the man with what looked like a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, Cureton said. He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center in stable condition.
Police did not immediately have identifying information on the man.
