Nadav Raviv smashed a glass on the ground before being found with a forged permanent resident card, authorities said

NEW YORK -- A 49-year-old New Jersey man was arrested after creating a disturbance at Trump Tower because he was unable to meet the president-elect, according reports.

Nadav Raviv, of Teaneck, spent the day hanging around Trump Tower hoping to see Trump, CBS-2 said.

When the businessman was still nowhere to found at 6:15 p.m., an agitated Raviv took a wine glass out of a trash and tossed it in the air, NYDailyNews.com said. Someone called the police after the glass smashed on the ground.

Raviv was arrested when he allegedly presented police with a fake U.S. Department of Homeland Security permanent resident card. He was charged with forgery, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and creating a hazardous condition

Raviv is not believed to be a U.S. citizen, CBS-2 said.

A day earlier, a 19-year-old college Baruch College student was arrested after trying to bring knives and fireworks into the building on Fifth Avenue, according to police. Alexander Wang told police he is a survivalist who always carries items like that with him.
