A pick-up truck struck several other vehicles around 5:45 a.m.
Three men were killed in a a multi-vehicle crash on the Cross Bronx Expressway this morning, according to reports.
The triple-fatal crash has led to massive backups throughout the area, including on the George Washington Bridge.
Motorists heading to New York on the GWB were facing delays of approximately two hours as of 9:20 a.m.
The crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. when an eastbound tractor-trailer slammed into a pick-up truck, a Toyota and a second tractor-trailer, NYDailyNews.com and CBS-2 reported.
The three people killed were all in the pick-up truck. At least five people were hurt.
There are no reported delays at either the Lincoln Tunnel or Holland Tunnel.
