OAKLAND -- Police are looking for the man who robbed a service station at gunpoint Sunday night.
The man, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing dark clothing and a face mask, approached the attendant at the Valero gas station on Ramapo Valley Road near closing time, Oakland Police Lt. Chris Eldridge said.
He showed a handgun and took cash, Eldridge said. Police did not disclose how much money the man stole.
Car crashes through entrance of Route 17 store
The man ran northwest on Doty Road toward West Oakland Avenue, Eldridge said. No one was hurt.
Police searched the area with help from a canine unit from the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
