The New Jersey State Police and Palisades Interstate Parkway Police on Monday helped capture a man wanted for questioning in a homicide in New York, authorities said.
SECAUCUS -- The New Jersey State Police and Palisades Interstate Parkway Police on Monday helped capture a man wanted for questioning in a homicide in New York, authorities said.
Palisades Interstate Parkway police began chasing the fleeing man when he entered New Jersey via the Palisades Interstate Parkway, New Jersey State Police Sgt. 1st Class Gregory Williams said.
The man drove onto the New Jersey Turnpike, where police stopped him in Secaucus near the Exit 18E toll plaza and took him into custody, Williams said. The man was sought by police from Troy, N.Y. Police there did not respond to calls seeking comment.

David Campos, 45, was wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a Troy woman, the Albany Times Union reported. Campos allegedly fled to New Jersey in a Chrysler.
