The 18-year-old victim arrived to meet two men on a marijuana transaction, police said.
FAIR LAWN - Police have arrested six men they say assaulted and robbed a man trying to sell marijuana in the parking lot of The Home Depot on McLean Boulevard in Paterson, authorities said Monday.
The robbery occurred Nov. 9 when the 18-year-old victim arrived to meet two men on a marijuana transaction, police said.
During the transaction, four other men showed up in the parking lot and the victim was assaulted and robbed of his marijuana, police said.
Also stolen were credit cards, $368 cash, a phone charger and a hat, police said.
Arrested were:
- Malik Contee, 20
- Luke Emerson, 20
- Zachary Louis, 18
- Aric McCray, 18
- Colin Sheehan, 19
- Marc Terwilliger, 18
All of the suspects were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and released on bail, police said.
The victim was not charged, police said.
