ENGLEWOOD -- High school and middle school students gathered Sunday for a robotics competition hosted by Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood.
The holiday weekend meet included 16 teams and was the third event hosted at Dwight Morrow as part of the FIRST robotics competition, according to the school. FIRST, which stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, is a non-profit that seeks to motivate students to pursue careers in science and technology.
The Dwight Morrow High School/Academies@Englewood team included members Zachary Bachrach, David Kotaev, Birane Lam, Drew De Montagnac, Omar Salem, Oscar Chen, Alex Rubino, Richard Sawh and Summerville Reid.
