LODI -- A Paterson man on Tuesday assaulted an NJ Transit bus driver, police said.
The bus driver had told Rosiland Grace, 28, to leave the bus for being disruptive and verbally abusing the driver and other passengers, Lodi Police said.
Grace responded by assaulting the bus driver and fleeing, police said. Officers arrested Grace nearby in the backyard of a North Savoie Street residence.
He was charged with aggravated assault on a bus driver and sent to Bergen County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
