NEW MILFORD -- Two 18-year-olds sold marijuana throughout Bergen County, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
Police on Wednesday arrested Gerlando Lamonaca, of New Milford, and Jordan A. Covo, of Westwood, after an investigation by the county prosecutor's Narcotics Task Force, New Milford Police and the Bergen County Sheirff's Department.
Police executed a search warrant Wednesday at Lamonaca's Concors Place home. They found less than five pounds of marijuana, a digital scale, plastic baggies and an imitation HK45 handgun, Grewal said.
Lamonaca and Covo were each charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute near a school. A judge set bail at $35,000 with no option to pay 10 percent cash.
They were sent to Bergen County Jail.
