Another $85K tax lien and a foreclosure still to go for this 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Watch video
Teresa Giudice is digging herself out of debt thanks to the Bravo and a freshly-minted bestseller, and it now looks like her "Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-star Jacqueline Laurita is attempting the same.
Court records obtained by NJ.com show Jacqueline and Chris Laurita recently paid off a $9,851 tax lien filed by the Internal Revenue Service in 2013. The IRS filed the paperwork Feb. 3, five days before Bravo announced that Jacqueline Laurita will return as a full-time housewife on the show's seventh season. The former cosmetologist also has a book, "Get It!: A Beauty, Style, and Wellness Guide to Getting Your 'It' Together," co-written with Jene Luciani, coming out in May.

Laurita was cut from the show after the fifth season, although she did appear later in the sixth season. That's when she revealed that she and Chris were forced to put their custom-built Franklin Lakes mansion on the market due to mounting bills for their youngest son Nicholas's autism treatment. (Chris Laurita has also been mired in a business bankruptcy for several years, but that was not mentioned.)
The couple failed to sell the home, and it went into foreclosure in 2015 and remains there, according to court records. She also still owes the IRS $85,127 according to a separate tax lien.

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" was on hiatus in 2015 while Giudice was in federal prison for bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, although she did earn a paycheck for a three-part special called "Teresa Checks In," which included her phone calls home to her family.
Together with her book deal, Giudice was able to save her Montville Township mansion from foreclosure, although her Lincoln Park rental home is set for a sheriff's auction in March. The Giudices also face a $551,563 tax lien from the IRS, as well as debts from her failed 2010 bankruptcy filing.
