Only one place outside of California or New York made the cut on a Business Insider list of the 25 most expensive ZIP codes in the United States.
There were 17 in California, 7 in New York and one in New Jersey: The most northeastern corner of New Jersey, to be exact.
Alpine, of Bergen County, with ZIP code 07620 was No. 21 on the list. The median sale prices for homes there is $2.3 million. It edged out a handful of California towns and trailed the Battery Park City neighborhood in lower Manhattan.

Many celebrities make their homes in Alpine, including comedian Tracy Morgan, who recently purchased a $13.9 million mansion on Rio Vista Drive. Producer Sean "Diddy" Combs and Chris Rock have also called the wealthy borough home.
