UPDATE: Police ID custodian found dead in school
BERGENFIELD - A custodian who worked at Bergenfield High School was found dead at the school Tuesday morning, according to police.
Police said they were in the process of informing the victim's family of the death and that more information would be available later today.
"There is nothing suspicious at this time," said Capt. Mustafa Rabboh.
The school remained closed until 10 a.m., district officials said.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, BHS only will be operating with delayed opening today, starting at 10 a.m.," stated a note posted on the district website.
