HACKENSACK -- A 34-year-old Hawthorne man is accused of harassing and cyberstalking someone for more than six months, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said Saturday.

Christopher Greig faces charges, including cyber harassment, stalking and terroristic threats, Acting Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced in a statement.

Greig allegedly used social media, phone calls and other internet communications to threaten, harass and stalk someone, according to the prosecutor. He had no prior relationship with the person and they did not know each other, Grewal said.

Authorities said Greig was ordered held at the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. The prosecutor's office did not release additional details on the allegations.
