FORT LEE -- A 22-year-old man upset about his wait to see a judge was arrested Thursday for screaming obscenities inside a courthouse, police said.

Marlon J. Ortiz, of North Bergen, was yelling right outside the courtroom doors at Ft. Lee Municipal Court around 11 a.m., according to Port Authority Police.

Ortiz had walked out of the courtroom and then became disorderly as he tried to walk back in, police said.

A Port Authority Police officer told Ortiz he was under arrest, but Ortiz pulled away, police said. They said he ran to the courthouse parking lot, where a Port Authority officer and a Fort Lee officer caught him.

Ortiz is charged with contempt of court, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. His bail is set at $2,500.
