TEANECK -- Police on Friday seized a stolen gun and drugs from a Teaneck home.

Teaneck Police executed a search warrant at the Amsterdam Avenue home after a narcotics investigation, Chief Robert A. Carney said in a news release.

Police seized a stolen Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun, marijuana and drug packaging materials. The gun was reported stolen in 2015 from a home in the Poconos in Pennsylvania, Carney said.

Police arrested Carlos Cepeda, who lives at the Amsterdam Avenue home. He was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun while distributing drugs and receiving a stolen handgun.

Cepeda, 18, posted $25,000 bail.

His brother, Denzel Castro, also lives at the home, but was not there when police conducted their search. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs, distribution of drugs in a school zone, receiving a stolen handgun and distribution of drug paraphernalia.

A judge set bail at $65,000 for Castro. He did not turn himself in and has yet to be served with complaints, Carney said.
