RIVER VALE - An eight-year-old boy nearly drowned in a backyard swimming pool on Sunday, according to CBSNewYork.
The near-drowning occurred during a family gathering at a home in River Vale, according to the website.
The child was found face down at the bottom of the swimming pool and was blue when pulled out of the pool, according to the report.
The child was airlifted to Hackensack University Medical Center. His condition was not available Monday morning.
