BOONTON TOWNSHIP -- Morris County Park Police are investigating an alleged incident in which a car was burglarized and two credit cards were stolen and used to make purchases.
The incident occurred on July 15 between 3 and 4 p.m. after the alleged victim parked his car at Tourne County Park in Boonton Township, according to a statement issued by Morris County CrimeStoppers.
Forced entry was made into the vehicle, where $60 and two credit cards were removed from a wallet, CrimeStoppers said.
The credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases at Macy's and the Gap in the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne and at Macy's in Garden State Plaza in Paramus on July 15 and 16, according to CrimeStoppers.
Security cameras showed a woman and a man, possibly in their 30s, pushing a baby in a stroller as they made these purchases, CrimeStoppers said.
A security camera photo provided by CrimeStoppers shows the woman suspect in the Gap at Willowbrook.
