The Paladins will open their season on Sept. 2 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan, against St. Frances Academy of Maryland. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

For the second straight year, Paramus Catholic is getting a game in the national TV spotlight.

This fall's season opener was already set to be a special affair, as the Paladins travel to Michigan on Sept. 2 for a game in the "Big House" at the University of Michigan against St. Frances Academy of Maryland.

The excitement only grew Monday, though, as head coach Dan Sabella told NJ Advance Media that the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

When the Paladins appeared on the network last October, they dropped a 28-20 road game against Florida's IMG Academy.

The glitzy atmosphere will help open up a new era for Paramus Catholic, as Sabella begins his tenure at the helm following a nine-year stint at Paramus.

The trip to Michigan is just the latest in a series of growing connections between the Palandins and Wolverines; both college football's top freshman, Rashan Gary, and Sports Illustrated's current cover boy, Jabrill Peppers, played at PC, while Michigan assistant Chris Partridge spent five years coaching in Paramus. Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh also visited the school in June to help run a satellite camp.

Paramus Catholic and St. Frances will kick off at 6 p.m.
