Early evening blaze heavily damages home
ELMWOOD PARK -- Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out at a home early Thursday night and left one firefighter injured.

The fire broke out around 5:20 p.m. at 9 Halstead Place and quickly grew to multiple alarms. John Molinelli, the Bergen County Prosecutor, said a firefighter was hurt and that his office would be investigating the blaze,
Multiple departments assisted at the fire, which was largely brought under control within an hour. Everyone got out of the house safely, according to published reports.
Additional information on the firefighter's condition was not immediately available Thursday night.
