A borough woman, who is in her 80s, was in stable condition after being hit by a truck while taking out the trash near her home, authorities said Wednesday.
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS -- A borough woman, who is in her 80s, was in stable condition after being hit by a truck while taking out the trash near her home, authorities said Wednesday.
The woman was struck Tuesday morning on Laurie Drive and initially found in and out of consciousness, according to Police Chief Michael Cioffi. She was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
An investigation was ongoing. Cioffi said the incident was an accident.
