ELMWOOD PARK — Police are still searching for a man who robbed a store on Broadway Avenue of $1,300 on Friday night.
At about 9:15 p.m., a man entered The Avenue woman's clothing store and indicated he had a weapon as he demanded cash from the register, according to Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno.

Though no witnesses saw a weapon, there appeared to be a gun under his sweatshirt, the chief said. The man made people in the store lay on the ground and count to 100 as he left the store with $1,300, he said.
While there is no surveillance footage of the suspect, the Bergen County Sheriff's Office K-9 dogs tracked the suspect's scent to Iozia Terrance and 14th Ave., he said.
The suspect has not yet been found, Foligno told NJ Advance Media Saturday evening.
