A rarity for December, no hats, gloves or winter coats are needed for this game!

It's only eight days away from the official start of winter, but it's going to feel like early spring on Sunday when the Jets take on the Tennessee Titans at MetLife Stadium.

KICKOFF WEATHER OUTLOOK

Expect mostly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon, with temperatures hovering around 64 degrees (a possible record-breaker) when kickoff time arrives at 1 p.m., according to AccuWeather, before the temperature falls slightly to 62 at 4 p.m.

ALSO: Temperatures may hit record highs

Even early tailgaters will be treated to nice weather, with temperatures around 55 degrees at 9 a.m., then warming up to 63 at noon, with just a gentle breeze and virtually no threat of rain.

WHAT TO WEAR

Our recommendation: Early tailgaters may want to wear a sweatshirt or light windbreaker in the morning before the temperature starts to rise. Fans going just for the game should be able to get by with a T-shirt (short-sleeved or long-sleeved) topped with a Jets jersey.
