LODI -- A witness spotted three people Thursday trying to kick in an air conditioner window unit to break into a home, police said.
The witness saw the two men and one juvenile flee in a Chrysler 300 with Pennsylvania plates, Lodi Police said in a press release.
After speaking with the witness, police arrested them five blocks away from the Jackson Place home.
Police charged Steven Zamuria, 18, of Little Ferry, Airon Tanon, 19, of Lodi, and a juvenile, with burglary and criminal mischief. Tanon and the juvenile were also charged with drug distribution, as they allegedly had a clear jar with several bags of what appeared to be marijuana, police said.
