SADDLE BROOK -- Police in Bergen County are urging residents to "keep a vigilant watch" during the holiday season for any suspicious activity after a handful of burglaries were reported in one day, a week before Christmas.
Four separate home burglaries were reported Friday night -- on 2nd Street, Saddle River Road, Harrison Street and 8th Street -- the Saddle Brook Police Department said in a press release.
Local authorities said officers found signs of forced entries in each of the burglaries, where electronics and other valuables were reported stolen.
"Residents are encouraged to keep a vigilant watch for any suspicious persons, vehicles and/or activities in their neighborhoods and immediately report any such observations to the police department," the Saddle Brooke Police Department said.
