Job N. Ramos-Aguilar, 28, faces aggravated sex assault charges, authorities say.
FAIRVIEW - A Cliffside Park man has been arrested and accused of sexually abusing a child for five years, authorities said Monday.
Job N. Ramos-Aguilar, 28, was arrested following a month-long investigation, according to Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
On June 28, the prosecutor's office and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency received a complaint that Ramos-Aguilar sexually assaulted a juvenile in Fairview. The abuse began when the victim was under age 13 and continued for five years, the prosecutor said.
Based on the investigation and interviews, Ramos-Aguilar was arrested Friday in Paramus and charged with one count each of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Grewal.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail on $250,000 full bail.
